Based on rules that you input into Siddur, the software can automatically seat your entire congregation. If Mrs. Adler doesn’t want to sit by Ms. Epps, no problem! Just tell Siddur and it will adjust your seating without having to redo your entire layout.

The software you receive will be adapted to fit your synagogue’s exact layout. We can change the seating style to suit any synagogue, whether seating is separate or not, as well as accommodating many other special requests.

When entering families into Siddur, you can classify them as life members, high holiday members, Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur only, students and various other categories, which all help Siddur automatically seat your congregation.

Siddur allows you to export your information to Microsoft Word or Excel using *.csv or *.tab formats. This will allow you to use your current templates to print labels. Siddur can also print your entire seating plan to share with your members.

Because Siddur is built in Adobe AIR, it works on Mac, Windows and Linux, all with very low system requirements. So don’t worry about having the most up-to-date computer system.

Don’t trust your computer systems? Don’t worry. As long as you’re connected to the internet, Siddur automatically backs up both your software and your synagogue’s seating layout on our servers whenever you make a change.

Siddur will be released in March 2010 giving staff plenty of time to familiarize with the software and use it for the 5770 High Holidays.
